Working hard in the gym is key to achieving your fitness goals. We sweat day in and day out, resist the sweets as much as we can, prepare our meals in advance, and find the time to work hard, even if it means getting to the gym at 5:00 a.m. After all, summer is just around the corner— time to really start achieving our fitness goals!

Sometimes, though, we all need a little boost, and that’s where supplements come into play. Supplements can give you that little extra push in achieving some lean muscle. Plus, you want to take care of the skin above that hard-earned muscle— reducing wrinkles and preventing dryness.

To help achieve this goal, I have been exploring some products from a company called Gluteboost, which has a line of glute enhancement pills and creams that contain ingredients that work to give you a “boost” in your booty while smoothing skin. In addition, the Gluteboost pills promise to plump the booty, and the cream promises the same— while also firming, smoothing the booty while diminishing the look of stretch marks and blemishes.

Among a few other active ingredients, the Gluteboost pills contains maca root because it’s said to work at the celluar level to enhance the muscles and make them stronger. Maca helps to restore red blood cells, which helps with anemia and cardiovascular diseases. It’s also been reported that when used with a workout regimen, maca can help increase lean muscle.

Here are some ingredients of the Gluteboost butt enhancement cream and their reported benefits:

Safflower Oil: Safflower oil helps the skin to retain water and moisture. It helps prevents dryness, smoothes the skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles and even removes dirt and oil.

Shea butter: Shea butter is beneficial to your skin and your hair. This is why many cosmetics and medicinal formulas use shea butter. It contains antioxidants such as vitamins A and E, which help protect the cells from free radicals and environmental damage. Shea butter also contain cinnamic acid esters, which help prevent skin damage from UV radiation.

Soy Extract: It’s been reported that soy may help to decrease wrinkles, reverse sun damage and help to tighten sagging skin, and may be particularly beneficial for sagging skin because of its ability to moisturize dry areas while decreasing the amount of oil on other areas of the skin.

Cocoa butter: Contains antioxidants that help fight off free radicals, which can cause skin stressors and signs of aging. The fatty acids in cocoa butter also hydrate the skin.

Dong quai: It’s been reported that dong quai can help balance estrogen levels— reducing them if they are too high and increasing them if they are too low. In addition, it has also been reported than dong quai can help keep you “youthful” by increasing circulation, improving complexion and helping to clear blemishes.
